Je sais... Encore une fois, de longues semaines se sont écoulées sans remises à jour...
I know... Once more, some long weeks flied out without updates...

Mais j'ai une "bonne excuse" !! : J'ai trouvé un travail ! Je travaille maintenant pour l'Office de Tourisme du "Canton de Corrèze" (en Corrèze ;b, France) pour 6 mois, en mi-temps.
But I've got a "good excuse" !! : I've found a job ! I work now in the tourist office of the "Canton de Corrèze" (in the department Corrèze ;b, France) for the next 6 months, a half-time job.

Maintenant, le stress de la recherche d'emploi et la période des fêtes étant finis, je vais tâcher de continuer mes traductions en anglais, rajouter les photos qui manquent, et développer quelques autres paragraphes !
Now that it's the end of the stress linked with my search of a job and the festivities period, I'll work on continuing the translations in English, adding the missing pictures, and developing new parts !

Premières impressions : / First feelings :

* "Bienvenue chers amis étrangers ! Parlez-vous français ? C'est pas grave ça arrive à tout le monde, débrouillez-vous !" ou autrement dit : les indications ne sont presque que en français, pas un seul mot en anglais dans le RER qui quittait la station Charles-de-Gaule... Quelle impolitesse ! On devrait en avoir honte !
"Welcome dear foreign friends ! Do you speak French ? No problem, that can happen to anybody, get along without !" or with other words : indications are almost just in French, there was even not one word in English in the RER leaving the airport station... What an impoliteness ! We should feel ashamed !

* Dans le train, j'ai retrouvé notre cher papier toilette rose-caca-doigt...
In the train, there is still this dear grey-ugly-pink toilet paper...

* La première bribe de conversation que j'ai captée : ça parlait de radars et contrôle de vitesse : vive la France...
The first piece of a chat I heard : it was about radar traps and speed controls : great France...

* Et quelle cacophonie de petits bouts de discussions compréhensibles dans tous les sens !
And what a cacophony of little pieces of understandable discussions from every directions !

* Autre chose, qui fera sans aucun doute plaisir aux limousins : y'avait des vaches marrons dans les prés ! (des Limousines)
Something else, (that will without any doubt make people from Limousin very pleased) : there were brown cows in the pastures ! (Limousine cows)

Mais à côté de ca, un sentiment assez étrange de normalité...
Autant j'avais trouvé le U-Bahn à Wien compliqué, autant le métro à Paris, bien que n'étant pas parisienne, m'a paru simple. Toute cette journée un peu extra-ordinaire était en fait "normale"...
But besides that, a pretty strange feeling of normality...
I found the U-Bahn complicated in Wien, but I found the Métro in Paris very simple, even if I'm not from Paris. This whole a bit extra-ordinary day was in fact like "normal"...

C'était un peu comme si j'étais partie la veille... Un saut de puce en Autriche, et me voilà de retour. Rien n'a vraiment beaucoup changé. Il y a toujours écrit "riz" sur la boîte à sucre chez mon père, je suis peut-être encore un peu plus grande que mes petites soeurs,...
It was a little bit as if I would have been gone just the day before... One jump in Austria, and I'm back. Nothing really changed a lot. It is still written "rice" on the sugar box in my father's house, I'm maybe still a little bit taller than my sisters,...

Et voilà, c'était déjà le Lundi 15 Octobre ! Il fallait que j'aille me coucher ! ;-b
And here we were, already on Monday, the 15th October ! I had to go to bed ! ;-b

Mais ce fut une nuit vraiment courte, surtout que je me suis réveillée en plein milieu pour aller récupérer mon pantalon resté dehors à sécher !! Et mon réveil m'a soudain annoncé qu'il était 5h30 !! Mission : éviter de réveiller tout le monde...
But it was a very short night, especially cause I woke up in the middle of nowhen to go to pick my trousers that stayed outside to dry !! And my alarm-clock suddenly told me it was 5'30 am !! Mission : avoid to wake up everybody...

Et maintenant il était déjà 6h10, on allait être en retard pour attraper le train de la-demi !
And now it was already 6'10, we were going to be late to pick the train of 6 and a half !
Incroyable mais vrai : la voiture était gelée... On prépare tout en vitesse, finalement je prends le volant, et je vous garantis, j'ai battu tous mes records, même en respectant les limitations de vitesse (ou presque ;-b) !!
Incredible but right : the car was frozen... We prepare everything quickly, finally I drove, and I can assure you, I broke all my records, even if I respected the speed-limits (or almost ;-b) !!

Mais avec ca, j'étais dans mon train... Et vous ne devinerez pas quoi ?! Quelques stations plus loin, Sandra et Anton étaient là pour me dire au revoir !!! Bon, ok, j'ai pas pu retenir beaucoup plus mon émotion...
But, I was in my train... And you won't guess what happened ?! Some stations further, Sandra and Anton were there to tell me Bye !!! Ya, alright, I couldn't contain much more my emotion...

   Une fois à Wien, j'ai pris le bus pour aller à l'aéroport, réalisant combien ça paise, une trentaine de kilos ! (Heureusement qu'un colis était resté à Riegersburg !) Puis j'ai attendu, attendu,... pour qu'enfin ce soit mon tour au guichet et faire imprimer mon nouveau billet. Et puis j'ai encore attendu au milieu d'une foule pressée et stressée, que ce soit l'heure de l'enregistrement, puis encore attendu, que ce soit l'heure de l'embarquement... Et là, surprise ! Comme il s'agissait d'un petit avion, nous sommes montés par la passerelle extérieure !
   Le vol s'est bien passé, j'ai presque fini ma boîte de chewing-gums specialement achetée pour l'occasion, mais malgré tout j'ai passé l'après-midi dans un monde aux sons atténués (d'autant plus que j'étais bien enrhumée)... On a attérri vers 14h30. Dans l'aéroport à Paris, le tout, c'est de s'orienter. Heureusement, on trouve toujours quelqu'un pour nous donner une indication, même erronée ! Enfin, j'ai récupéré mes bagages, et maintenant, l'objectif c'était de rejoindre la Gare d'Austerlitz au plus vite, ou alors je loupais mon train, et je me retrouvais à attendre tout l'après-midi... RER, Métro, avec les bagages qui pèse 3 tonnes, Arrêt Austerlitz, je vais au plus vite, pas le temps d'aller au guichet, je prends mon billet à l'automate, qui met trois plombes à imprimer le billet, 16h08, le train Paris-Brive est effacé de l'affichage : Ca peut pas être vrai ! Le train devait partir à '10 ! Je vais vite sur le quai... Le train est encore là ! Juste après le coup de sifflet, je peux encore monter, je cherche une place, ça y est. En route pour la Corrèze.
   Once in Wien, I took a bus to go to the airport, realising how much 30 kilos weigh ! (Fortunately, I let a pack in Riegersburg !) Then I waited, I waited,... and finally it was my turn and I could have my new plane-ticket. And then I waited again within a stressed and in a hurry crowd, until it was time to be registered, then I waited again, until it was time to go into the plane... And surprise ! It was a small plane, so we could go into with the outside bridge !
   The flight was all right, I almost finished my chewing-gums which were bought especially for this trip, but despite that, I spent the whole afternoon in a world with attenuated sounds (all the more so I had already a cold)... We landed around 2'30 pm. In the airport in Paris, the only thing is to find the right directions. Merrily, there is always someone to give you indications, even wrong ! Well, I found my luggages, and my purpose now was to go to the train-station Austerlitz as fast as possible, or I'd miss my train, and I'd wait the whole afternoon... RER, Métro (underground), with my 3 tonnes packages, Austerlitz stop, I go as quick as I can, no time to buy the ticket to the ticket-office, I'll order my ticket to the automatic machine, which needs an eternity to print it, 4'08 pm, my train Paris->Brive disappears from the board : That cannot be true ! The train should leave at '10 ! I'm going fast to the platform... The train is still there ! Right after the departure whistle, I still can go into the train, I look for a seat, and that was it. On the road to Corrèze.

13th- 14th Oct. : Un week-end éclair ! / A whistle week-end !

En fait, je n'en ai que peu de souvenirs ! Je crois que tout est passé très vite ! Des bagages à finir, le stress du départ augmentant de plus en plus...
In fact, I've got only a few memories of it ! I think time flyed very fast ! Luggages to be finished, the stress of the departure increasing more and more...

Quelques surprises adorables, comme la courge-bol pour un de mes derniers repas en leur companie, un punch (le "Pounch" de Tanja ! ;-b) special sans alcool (à base de jus de raisin maison, etc !!!), des cadeaux, des embrassades, la visite de Véra,... Merci beaucoup !
Some sweet surprises, like a pumpkin-bowl for one of my last meals in their company, a punch (the Tanja's "Poonch" ! ;-b) specially without alcool (with home-made grappejuice, and s.o. !!!), presents, huggings and kissings, Vera's visit,... Thank you so much !

Pendant que moi, je me présentais à mon examen d'allemand à Wien, Béata, Maiwenn et Pisti étaient aussi à Wien pour leur formation à l'arrivée.
While I was having my German exam in Wien, Béata, Maiwenn et Pisti were in Wien too, assisting to their on-arrival training.

De leur côté, Tanja et Ronny ont organisé une journée spéciale pour le retour des trois volontaires au sein de l'association : le vendredi 12 Octobre a été consacré à une présentation générale de l'association et de son projet, une visite détaillée de la maison et la propriété, une libre expression des attentes, aptitudes et souhaits de chacun (dans tous les domaines, plus ou moins liés à leur SVE avec Keimblatt), Ronny et Tanja se sont également présentés d'une façon plutôt originale,...
For their part, Tanja and Ronny organised a special day especially for the three volunteers, once back home : the Friday, 12th October, was dedicated to a general introduction of the association and its project, a detailled visit of the place, a self-expression of the expectations, skills and wishes of each person (in every domains, more or less linked with their EVS with Keimblatt), Ronny and Tanja also introduced themselves via a quite original way,...

Cette journée s'est principalement déroulée en Allemand. J'ai donc été invitée à y assister afin de servir d'interprète à Maiwenn. C'est encore plus fatiguant que ce que j'avais imaginé ! Mais c'était intéressant aussi pour moi, car j'ai même appris des choses que je ne savais pas encore sur le projet Keimblat Ökodorf !
It was mainly a German-spoken day. So, I was invited to assist to it, in order to be Maiwenn's translator. It was even more tiring than what I imagined ! But it was also interesting for me, because I even learnt things which I didn't know yet about the project Keimblatt Ökodorf !

Je pense que c'était vraiment une très bonne journée. Je ne sais pas s'ils mesurent la qualité de l'introduction qui leur a été faite au sein de la maison, mais je tiens à la souligner. Bon boulot, Tanja et Ronny !
I think it was a really great day. I don't know if they realise the quality of the introduction they received within the house, but I want to enphasize it. Great job, Tanja and Ronny !

Visit of M. Scharler's garden !!!

M. Scharler, c'est notre "fermier préféré". C'est chez lui que nous achetions ces légumes si merveilleux et si délicieux. J'aurais été triste de partir sans le revoir une dernière fois, et sans avoir visité son exploitation !
M. Scharler is our "favorite farmer". That was his products which were these so marvellous and delicious vegetables. I would have been sad if I would have left without meeting him one last time, and without visiting his property !
Herr Scharler ist unser "Lieblingsbauer". Seine Produckte sind dieses so wunderbare und leckere Gemüse. Ich wäre traurig gewesen, when Ich gefahren wäre, ohne ihm ein letztes Mal getroffen und ohne seinen Bauernhof besichtigen zu haben !

Le mercredi 10 Octobre, directement de retour de Wien, Tanja et moi nous sommes tout d'abord rendu sur le marché fermier, puis chez lui : des serres aux légumes multicolores pour confirmer son incroyable amour des légumes !
Wednesday, 10th October, directly on my way back from Wien, Tanja and I went first to the farmer market, then at M. Scharler's : Green-houses full of multicolore vegetables confirming his incredible love for veggies !
Am Mittwoch, 10. Oktober, direkt (;-b) von Wien, sind Tanja und Ich zuerst am Bauernmarkt, dann zu Herr Scharler gefahren : die voll mit bunten Gemüse Glashauses singen seine ungewöhnliche Liebe fürs Gemüse !!

Vielen Dank, Walter, für diese liebe Führung...

The B2-Mittelstufe Deutsch episode, and trip to Wien !

Ca, je le tenais un peu secret, pour faire une surprise à ma famille, je n'en avais donc pas encore parlé.
That was a little secret, to make a surprise to my family, that's why I didn't talk about it.

Même si mon niveau d'Allemand est inférieur à ce que j'aurais souhaité, j'ai fait des progrès assez importants. Et pour concrétiser un peu mon apprentissage en fixant un objectif, Sandra a eu l'idée de me proposer de tenter un examen d'Allemand ! Alors voilà, en Septembre, j'ai essayé d'accélérer un peu mon amélioration, afin de passer le B2-Mittelstufe Deutsch le 9 Octobre...
Even if my German level is not so good as I would have wished, I improved quite a lot. And to fix a goal in my learnings, Sandra had the idea that I could try to pass an exam of German ! So, in September, I tried to accelerate a bit my improvement, in order to pass the B2-Mittelstufe Deutsch on October, 9th...

Cela correspond au niveau permettant d'étudier en Allemagne ou en Autriche (un peu comme le TOEFL pour étudier dans un pays anglophone).
It corresponds to the level allowing to study in Germany or Austria (something like the TOEFL to study in an English-speaking country).

J'ai donc passé quelques temps assez studieux, pas si faciles, car j'ai un peu perdu l'habitude de la pression des examens. Et plus j'apprenais, plus j'avais l'impression que je ne savais rien dire et que je faisais de plus en plus d'erreurs !
I had some pretty busy time, not so easy, because I'm not used to the stress linked with exams anymore. And the more I was learning, the more I was feeling like I couldn't say anything and like I was making more and more mistakes !

Finalement, la date est arrivée ; je me suis donc rendue à Wien pour la troisième et dernière fois -j'en ai profité pour faire un peu de tourisme aussi ;-).
Le 9, examen écrit de 11h à... 14h30. Compréhension de textes, à l'écoute, rédactions. Le 10, à 8h30 : examen oral.
Finally, the day arrived ; I went to Wien for the third and last time -I took the opportunity to go there to visit also a bit ;-)
On the 9th : written part of the exam, from 11' AM to... 2'30 PM. Texts and Hearing comprehension, compositions. On the 10th : oral examination.

Je remercie bien sincèrement Matthias, avec lequel j'ai passé de très agréables moments : en particulier lorsque nous avons visité le parc du château de Sisi !
I thank you very sincerely, Matthias. I spent really nice moments in your company : especially during the visit of the parc next to Sisi's Castle !

Ah ! et puis, Tanja m'a téléphoné hier pour m'annoncer mes résultats ! J'ai réussi l'exam !!
Ah ! And Tanja phoned me yesterday to tell me about my results ! I passed the exam !!

September and October...

En fait, les semaines ont simplement défilé...
In fact, weeks simply went very fast one after the other one...

Vers la mi-Septembre, nous avons accueilli deux nouveaux volontaires : Silvia, une volontaire WWOOF qui habite près de Nürnberg (Allemagne), adorable, et Boris, un Croate au parcours de vie extraordinaire, très rigolo !
In the middle of September, we welcomed two new volunteers : Silvia, a WWOOF volunteer coming from the surroundings of Nürnberg (Germany), lovely, and Boris, a Croatian with an incredible life-story, extremly funny !

Puis, quelques petites semaines plus tard, j'accueillais la "nouvelle SVE francaise"... Maiwenn est une bretonne qui parle breton!, anglais, mais juste quelques mots d'allemand. Alors on a triché : Comme Ronny était encore au Portugal, et que Tanja comme Silvia parlent très bien francais, ben on a parlé francais... Heureusement que Boris était là, comme ca on parlait aussi un peu en anglais ! (C'est que ca aurait été monotone un peu sinon :-p !)
Then, a very few weeks later, I was welcoming "the new French EVS"... Maiwenn comes from Bretagne and speaks Breton!, English, but just some German words. Then we cheated : Ronny was still in Portugal, and Tanja and Silvia speak really good French => we spoke in French... Fortunately, Boris was here, like this we spoke also a little bit in English ! (That would have been boring otherwise :-p !)

Impression un peu bizarre, il faut l'avouer... si Maiwenn était la "nouvelle volontaire SVE", cela faisait-il de moi "l'ancienne SVE francaise" ?...
A bit strange feeling, I must admit... if Maiwenn was "the new French EVS", was I "the previous French EVS" ?...

Ronny est rentré. Et puis, les deux SVE Hongrois (Béata et Pisti) sont arrivés, eux aussi. Comme le signe que de toute façon, le temps était venu de commencer mes valises. Amorce un peu précipitée, puisque le samedi 6 Octobre, j'ai du libérer et nettoyer ma chambre en une matinée pour que Pisti puisse s'y installer dès son arrivée. Je suis allée partager la chambre à Silvia.
Ronny came back. And then, the two Hungarish EVS (Béata et Pisti) arrived too. As a sign that, anyway, the time was coming for me to begin packing. A start a bit fast as I had to leave and clean my bedroom in one morning, on Saturday, 6th October, to let it free for Pisti. I went to share Silvia's bedroom.

Et voilà ! c'était déjà mon avant-dernier week-end en Autriche !
And here we are ! It was already my next-to-last week-end in Austria !

Et oui ! Plus la fin de mon SVE se rapprochait, plus la vie là-bas me semblait aller de soi. Un sentiment de "comme à la maison" en quelque sorte, où les difficultés liées au fait d'être étrangère paraissent être normales, et les activités au sein de l'asso, couler de source...
The more the end of my EVS was coming, the more the life there was like being plain. A "like home" feeling on a certain way, where the difficulties related to the fact I was a stranger and the activities within the association seemed natural...

Cette fameuse fin de mon SVE, c'était le 15 Septembre. Mais mon billet d'avion, je l'avais déjà repoussé depuis un bon bout de temps pour le 15 Octobre. Alors je pouvais poursuivre tranquillement mon volontariat un mois de plus.
This famous end of my EVS was on the 15th September. But I had already postponed my flight on the 15th October since a pretty long time. Then I could quietly get on with volunteering an other month.

Continuer à m'occuper de la serre (qui était de plus en plus jolie et nous a même donné quelques légumes !), quelques tours sur le marché ou chez notre "fermier préféré", régulièrement quelques journées chez Sandra et Antòn pour aider (à curer les boxs), finir les bannières pour le site web de Keimblatt, continuer aussi ma bataille contre les souris (et les rats...) qui s'étaient installés dans la cave, participer aux diverses priorités de la maison, etc...
Continuing to take care of the green-house (which was becoming increasingly beautiful and even gave us some vegetables !), some trips to the market or at our "favourite farmer"'s farm, spending regularly some days by Sandra et Antòn to help (cleaning the stalls), finishing the web-banners for Keimblatt, getting on also with fighting against the mice (and rats...) that were recently living in the basement, participating to the various activities in the house, etc...
